Individual training in nutritional consultation with your own clinical cases
English or German. Monthly up to 8 cases, flexible timing.
You will be guided step by step in your nutritional cases:
- Diet evaluation
- Nutritional points and purposes
- Diet adjustment or new calculation
- Nutritional recommendations
- Follow up
There will be an online meeting for all trainees once each month for discussion of cases, questions and answers. A recording of the meeting will also be available on the website.
Group training in nutritional consultation
Round table discussion of 6 different cases – dogs and cats with special nutritional needs.
After training you will have a certificate from me as ECVCN Diplomate.
The clinical cases will be chosen by trainees, some examples:
- Diet for a growing puppy – follow up and adjustments during growth
- Diet for an obese cat – real nutritional challenge
- Diet for a dog with struvite stones
- Diet for a cat with renal disease
- IBD: nutritional options of diet for dogs
We will discuss:
- Diet evaluation
- Diet options for each case
- Choice of compounds and calculation of homemade diet
- Choice of commercial diet – individual needs
- Points for recommendations
- Follow up
